About

How can an Italian to English transcreator and multilingual copywriter help your business?

Marketing in another language is hard. And guess what? Competition is fierce in the English-speaking world.

But it’s worth it. Even if you’re not specifically targeting consumers in the UK, communicating in English will make your company or brand more successful when it comes to attracting international business.

Marketing in another language is hard. And guess what? Competition is fierce in the English-speaking world.

But it’s so worth it. Even if you’re not specifically targeting consumers in the UK, communicating in English will mean that your company or brand will be more successful at attracting international business.

Perfectly crafted words for the English-speaking market

I’m here to help you conquer the English-speaking market. As an Italian to English transcreator and multilingual copywriter, I craft my polished copy to specifically appeal to English-speaking audiences.

Whether you require copy written from scratch or need to transform Italian copy into English, I’ll get under the skin of your brand and help you target those English-speaking customers.

Made in England, blossomed in Italy

My story begins in Urbino, Le Marche, where I spent a year as a student, followed by a stint in Calabria. Yes, it’s a cliché, but I fell in love with Italy. I returned to the UK inspired and with an addiction for potato on my pizza.

Back in the UK, I spent nine years in international advertising, working with some of the world’s biggest companies – as well as inspiring not-for-profits.

But Italy remained under my skin. Even as a student, I’d noticed that many Italian brands struggled to communicate effectively in English. They would spend time and money getting their Italian copy just right, but the English translation would often be too literal and lacked the finesse of the Italian. The result would be marketing copy that was off-brand and unpersuasive, undermining the brand’s carefully crafted image.

That’s when I realised how important it is for brands to work with translator-copywriters who not only know how to translate well, but can also write commercial copy.

I know first-hand that marketing in another language is hard. Think of me as your guide to the quintessential British customer. When I first arrived in Italy, my new-found Italian friends showed me the ropes, stopping me from ordering a cappuccino after dinner. Now I’m here to return the favour.

Qualifications & professional memberships

When you choose a copywriter or translator, it’s difficult to know who to trust. Our profession requires no training or qualification to practise. And when you work with a translation agency, you have no idea who is actually doing the work.

Let me make it easy for you: I hold Diplomas in Translation and Marketing and have completed extensive copywriting training.

I’m an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and Member of Procopywriters.

Working with me

I know you’re busy. Me too. My aim is to make everything as easy as possible for you. We’ll start with a quick chat over Skype or email to determine whether we’re the best fit. I’ll then prepare your no-obligation proposal. When you confirm, I’ll start the briefing process to really get under the skin of your brand.

I’ll support you and keep you updated along the way. Collaboration is the best way to ensure that you end up with something you are over the moon with, and more importantly – works.

Looking after our planet and behaving ethically has long been a concern in my personal life, and I have brought this into my business.

Read here how I have made my business as low impact as possible. I give preference to businesses and organisations that help promote sustainability and ethical living.
